God calls us to give 10% of our money to Him, and says that tithing is "sacred to the Lord" (Lev 27:30).  Tithing in the Church breaks down to 5% to the parish and 5% to the poor (via Catholic charities).  Thank you for your generosity to our parish; God is never outdone in generosity and will reward you abundantly.
