The parish will be supporting a young man's idea of sharing seeds and plants for others to grow. We will collect the "extra" produce starting in mid July for distribution to give to those in need. Find the tent near the upper entrance after all Masses this weekend (5/6 & 5/7) to choose from a variety of seeds and plants if you are interested in taking part! Thanks!

It's common and fruitful for a Catholic parish to have a "mission" during Lent led by an outside priest or religious to grow together with a particular theme or focus of one aspect of our life with Christ. Fr. Tom Morrow of the Archdiocese of Washington will be leading our Parish Mission from 7-8 pm on March 22, 23, and 24 in the church. Our theme will be "Saints and Sacraments". Fr. Morrow is an excellent speaker and story-teller especially about the saints.
Please join us for our 2nd Annual Lenten Retreat with Fr. Greg at the Priest Field Pastoral Center in beautiful Charles Town, WV from March 10-12th, 2023. Cost is $225 per person and includes meals and accommodations. Transportation to and from Priest Field is on your own. Emails have been sent out with more information requesting family pictures. You may submit your family picture at any time to tglander@olvp.org to be included in the directory. Pictures can be from vacations, holidays or families being creative! You will also have the opportunity to have your picture taken at the church at no cost. March for Life! Join Our Lady of the Visitation Parish on Friday, January 20, 2023, for the 50th annual March for Life as we celebrate the overturn of Roe v. Wade. Let’s fill OLVP’s bus! A Mass for Life will be celebrated at OLVP at 9:00am and the bus leaves at 10:00am. Return to OLVP will be between 4:00pm – 5:00pm. The cost of the bus AND lunch will be $50. The Upper Room Men’s Group is planning to work through Father Donald Calloway’s Consecration to St. Joseph beginning on December 22, 2022 continuing through January 23, 2023. The Consecration consists of daily prayer, reading and reflection on St. Joseph. Father Greg will lead discussion of the week's readings at the Saturday morning Upper Room Men's Group meetings beginning at 7:30 a.m. The Consecration to Saint Joseph will help men grow in their vocations as husbands, fathers, friends, and citizens.
